I currently live in Cohasset, Massachusetts, a small town about 30 minutes away from Boston. I grew up in a suburb of Dayton-OHIO (it is defiantly fair to say I am a lifelong Buckeye Fan, small secret: it is never a mistake for me to use scarlet and grey in a work!).
I moved out to the East Coast to attend college in 1995 and have somewhat never left. In 2017 I was diagnosed with RAI resistant papillary thyroid cancer, it was during the recovery phase of my first surgery that I rediscovered ART as means to distract my mind as well as spend time with my daughter in a meaningful way.
I am doing very well today, seemingly beating my cancer into a manageable/stable outlook. I am very thankful and humbled to have had access to the medical community (specifically a handful of amazing doctors to which I owe my life) within the city of Boston.
My primary passion is abstract works through the use of acrylic paints and some mixed media, often inspired by places I have traveled and things I have discovered along the way. I love working with true and bold colors and engineering unique and creative ways of applying it!
